I grew up in Hampshire and after university began my career on the graduate training programme at a major defence contractor. This saw me living variously in Surrey, Hampshire and Gloucestershire, before moving to London in 2011.

I got involved in politics shortly after university and soon became Deputy Chairman of Cheltenham Conservatives. I stood for election there, in both borough and county council elections.

I also served as a primary school governor, which helped me to better understand the problems faced by schools. But my primary focus was to ensure that local children were getting the best possible start in life.

Throughout my career I have been a management consultant, working alongside members of the Armed Forces, and I am passionate about the defence and security of our country.

In 2018, I helped found Conservative Friends of the Armed Forces, to raise the profile of defence issues within the Conservative Party, and I now sit on the organisation’s board.

In 2019, I was campaign manager for James Cleverly’s party leadership campaign and in the 2019 General Election, I supported the Lewisham & Deptford group of constituencies in London. I also campaigned in my home constituency of Westminster and supported marginal constituency campaigns across the country.

I am the co-founder of the Global Britain Centre, am a Treasurer’s Ambassador for the Conservative Party, helping to raise funds to support candidates and campaigns at every election. I have also written for The Spectator and Conservative Home.
